Bob Innes is the WWGA President from 2001 through 2003. Bob lives on a ranch southwest of Gillette Wy. and is a third generation sheep producer. He partners with his parents, with his wife Cindy, two sons Kyle (a student at the University of Wyoming), and James (a Senior at CCHS), and a
daughter, Kirsten who is in the seventh grade. This family operation runs Targhee sheep, both commercial and registered. Bob is a member of the Campbell County School Board, the Wyoming Stock Growers Assn. and the American Wool Council. The sheep industry has always played a primary role in the Innes family history beginning with Alexander (Sandy) Innes herding sheep after immigrating to the U. S. from Scotland at the age of 16. As President of the WWGA, his message to the wool growers of the state would be, "Serving on the WWGA Board brings clarity to how essential and how vitally necessary this organization is to the welfare and to the future of each and every active sheep producer in this state.
